BOGUS STUDIES - INADEQUATE REGS Inadequate federal guidelines by the USDA regarding the transportation of horses to slaughter are being adopted despite protests from numerous equine and animal protection groups all over the United States. Studies which we feel are bogus, as they were mostly conducted by horse slaughter proponents, were used as the basis for some of these "guidelines" which include the continued use of inhumane double-decker cattle trailers and allowing horses to travel for more than 28 hours without food, water or rest.
